Digital Factory is NOT a design tool

The 3D modeling features in Digital Factory are not a design tool. They are tools to create embellishments on existing 3D models. This means that you design 3D models as products using your favorite 3D design program such as Blender, Solidworks or ZBrush and then upload these designs to Digital Factory. Once in Digital Factory, you can create embellishments that face consumers. Features such as text paths, displacement mapping and mate objects can be configured to let consumers tweak them and create personalized products. Features are saved as individual edits in the system along with tool tips so that retail consumers are presented with a guided workflow to complete edits.

Features include tool tips. Tool tips can be whatever you name them. These are "features" that consumers can edit in the retail mode.
